Spring is awakening us to renewal – nudging us to open our hearts and see her colors and abundant life bursting forth. As we shed winter’s mental constructs, our vision clears. We see situations anew:
- Gratitude:
- Gratitude emerges spontaneously when we perceive life without preconceived notions.
- We appreciate the ordinary—the sunrise, a kind word, a shared meal.
Meister Eckhart declares,
“If the only prayer you ever say in your entire life is thank you, it will be enough.”
- Contentment:
- Contentment arises when we accept reality as it is, unfiltered by desires or comparisons.
- We experience peace in the present, regardless of external circumstances.
The Bhagavad Gita teaches,
“He who is contented with what comes to him spontaneously attains peace.”
This shift in perspective transcends the mundane. It opens a world of wonder and possibilities where life is simpler and freer.
