Change your way of seeing

Expand your perspective to change your behavior

“Don’t try to change your behavior; change your way of seeing – your behavior will change on its own.”

This is a radical claim. However, this profound statement encapsulates the essence of lasting transformation.

Instead of focusing solely on surface-level modifications, “change your way of seeing” encourages us to delve deeper into the root causes of our behaviors and alter our perception of ourselves and the world around us.

By peeling back the layers upon layers — of conditioning, biases, insular attitudes, and societal expectations that influence our actions, we gain insight into the core aspects of our being.

Through this process, we transcend the confines of judgment, opinions, and expectations, allowing us to perceive ourselves and our circumstances with newfound clarity and understanding.

As we cultivate a more expansive and compassionate view of ourselves and others, we naturally gravitate towards behaviors that are in alignment with our authentic selves. Rather than forcing change through sheer willpower or external pressure, we find ourselves effortlessly embodying traits such as empathy, kindness, inner strength, and resilience.

In essence, by changing our way of seeing, we create the fertile ground upon which lasting behavioral change can take root and flourish.
